United Pallet Services is a proud supporter of the Nature's Packaging Initiative
Nature’s Packaging is a North American initiative to develop and deliver sound, fact-based materials on the environmental opportunities associated with your wood packaging selection decisions. It is our firm belief this information will lead to your expanded use of wood packaging, and collectively we’ll improve the environment while addressing the growing needs of global distribution. The vast majority of consumer and manufacturing goods, domestically and internationally, move because of wooden pallets, crates, boxes and bins, and for good reason, they are an exceptionally strong, economical, durable, flexible, safe and a sustainable choice.
United Pallet Services is now part of the USDA's BioPreferred program.
We are pleased to announce that we are now allowed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide wood pallets that are certified as a USDA Certified Biobased Product. Biobased products are derived from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials. Pallets designed with our help through the Pallet Design SystemTM (PDS) program are approved as 100% biobased and we can now label them as such.
